Mr.T’s Parkview Neighbors

“Mr. T Parkview Neighbors" is a deeply personal addition to my Watercolor Frenzy collection, created in honor of my Irish twin, T’Challa Black. As he transitioned from life during the Kwanzaa season of 2024 and passed on 2/6/2025, I channeled my emotions into 21 Whimsical watercolor pieces, each carrying fragments of our shared memories, his energy, and the impact he had on my life.

This third series holds even greater significance because a selection of these works was accepted for exhibition at the Ace Market Space Gallery in Oakland, CA, during the last weekend of his birthday month. It marks a milestone in my artistic journey—my first gallery exhibition—but more importantly, it’s a celebration of his life and the unwavering support he gave me.

T’Challa’s encouragement always fueled my creativity, and this collection is my way of honoring that. Through bold washes of color and layered textures, I explore themes of remembrance, love, and the lasting presence of those we’ve lost. This series is not just about grief—it’s about connection, resilience, and carrying his spirit forward in my work.
